Science class
Benthos
Benthos is built for work, not records. Its larger sphere seats a pilot and two scientists, each with their own viewport, and its twin hydraulic manipulators can set an instrument, take a push-core, or lift a rock as gently as a hand.
Rated to 6,000 metres, it reaches ninety-eight per cent of the world’s seafloor. It is the craft that does the science the records make possible.
